Place your hand out hitting the chest and finding the soft part of the throat above the middle of chest bone. Press hard with the middle finger. If done correctly this should cause choking or gagging.
As this occurs, Kick directly upward with your strong leg between the legs, striking with the knee or the top of the foot or shin, delivering a groin kick.

There is not a full proof method to ensure complete safety from an attack. By preparing yourself physically and mentally, you can cut down on the percentage of ultimately being a victim.

If there is any reason that you feel that you are in a situation that could be life threatening or dangerous, you must make your presence known. Letting an attacker know that you are strong and are not a victim is the first step to survival. A shout or a yell, “STAY BACK, BACK OFF” or some command that will let an attacker know that you are not going to be an easy target. DO NOT ALLOW YOUR SELF TO BE A VICTIM. You will be scared but you MUST NOT show fear.
